Looks like TSJ decided to rip the band aid off and do a complete reset with all new coaching staff. So, who’s going to FCV tryouts this Spring?

With DD’s having played for both coaches, see no reason why Coach Eric’s contract would not be renewed. Always professional, decent coach. JH on the other hand not having his contract renewed was long overdue. [/quote]

I was told that TSJ basically wanted to start fresh with a "clean slate". And I know it wasn't JH's decision to resign. That's why I was curious about Eric. Christian is obviously trying to bring a lot of the FCV coaches with him so maybe ED is planning to go that route, too.[/quote]

ED and CC go back to before FCV. They were at SYA way back when.

Yes high level soccer. All will be fine. Goal is to play in college. If you see 3-4 years from now a drop off in college commits then that would be a problem. But you will not I think.

People say this but it is not even close to true. There is enough talent in this area on the #2 teams right now to build 2-3 ECNL/GA teams.

Its 100% true- if you're expecting these teams to be competitive. If you're talking about building another club like BRAVE, then you're right.

The VDA parents who have star kids on teams have been allowed to get away with annoying, inappropriate, rude, obnoxious, entitled, back-door-dealing behavior for years during practices and games (constantly yelling at referees and loudly coaching players from the sidelines) and they are not going to give up that power. You'll see. Parents screaming at players during games to pass the ball to only one kid on offense. BP will be able to change the younger teams parental behavior, maybe, but definitely not the 2011, 2010 and up.

This isn’t how it is at VDA. Why are you so mad? Who hurt you?
