That's exactly what it comes down to with today's SC ruling. If something is done by a POTUS with THE INTENTION as part of his official duties OR the outer perimeter of his official duties, he can't be criminally charged. It would be up to Congress to discipline the POTUS via the power of impeachment & conviction.
The dissenting justices are absolutely correct in their example of Seal Team 6 so long as the POTUS believed doing so was within in official duties.
Today's ruling elevates the POTUS to a god, not a king.
Which would be excellent for Trump come 2024!!! Watch out suckers and losers.

Biden should disband SCOTUS as his first official act as King. He should take away their power, apply term limits, and prosecute the Insurrectionist’s wives. And don’t forget to get Seal Team 6 on the schedule.
1. It takes Constitutional Amendment change to change the qualifications for the Presidency;
2. It takes Constitutional Amendment to abolish the SCOTUS and highly unlikely;
3. The SCOTUS just ruled in "Fischer" "Obstruction" charge cannot be used for J6 protesters.
You are shit out of luck.
Ok, what’s stopping Biden from assassinating Trump as an official act?
Assassinating your political rival will never be interpreted by the SCOTUS as "official" act by a President.

Trump should be arrested for insurrection, treason. Attempting an illegal act of trying to overturn the election IS NOT AN OFFICIAL ACT.

They already do this through things like student debt elimination and promises of UBI etc
I am talking a cash deal. You give me a vote and you get cash. And I will throw in lunch.
The courts aren’t going anywhere. No cash would never flow.
It is an official act.
He can’t be held criminally responsible for attempting to do an end run around student loan forgiveness. That does not mean the courts would allow a student loan forgiveness cash pay out.
How would the courts enforce that?
I don't see what the problem is. If donors are not allowed to pay directly for the votes then give to Biden to hand out. He would be immune from any issues.
Buying votes is not an official act. It's a criminal act. Did the glass bowl Six also specifically give him immunity for official criminal acts?
What could they do to a president that buys votes?

He wasn’t getting arrested for those things even before SCOTUS took this case.
If those aren’t treasonous acts, then what would be?
