I mean, really. He’s super hot and super talented and he ends up with someone 15 years older than him? That has mommy issues written all over it.
Grooming is absolutely not the right word. He chased after her. She was the big star in Australia when they met.
And using "grooming" to discuss consensual relationships between adults who met as adults lessens toe seriousness of actual grooming.
Like yes, Macron is an excellent example of actual grooming. Teenager having a sexual relationship with his teacher, absolutely grooming. That's the thing of thing that society should step in and stop.
Someone in their late 20s meeting and marrying another adult, you may think "weird", but it's not grooming.

I feel the same way about the women that marry 15+ older, more famous men.
Agree that he has mommy issues (and probably other abandonment issues), but when they met, she was more famous, more successful and more attractive.
It's unusual but not unheard of for men to marry older partners especially when the woman is attractive and successful. When they both age, the age difference is more obvious but I've know two couples like this. Not usual but not unheard of. I've also read that people who have a big age difference in their first relationship will also have one in their next one, but in the opposite direction and it fits here. Jackman was with someone older and is now with someone much younger.

OP here. Yeah, I was thinking that too. I wonder if he'll come out? I'm rooting for him if that's the case. I found out my dad was gay after he passed away and I remain really sad that he never got to live his life fully and authentically.
You’re not rooting for him otherwise?
Rooting for him *to come out.* Doesn’t seem to be forthcoming, though, so no, not really “rooting for” a cheater.
My thought is that he's bi and Sutton enjoys it, whereas Deborah merely tolerated it.
Yet we haven't had men telling about encounters with Hugh like we did John Travolta.
