I believe Angel launched a mutiny. She obviously has a strong personality and isn’t shy about speaking up. I think she spewed negativity and some followed her.

The Lady Terps coach is widely known as a team builder. She expects everyone to do their best together. If you deliver, you play. If you are tired, you sit. Angel simply didn’t want to be told what to do.

And perhaps the latest media coverage coupled with Angel’s own words prove that she is a woman who sees race and racism in everything. That’s sad. It’s a heckuva way to go through life.

The White Athletic Director said that in an attempt to undermine Angel, but I don’t think they are doing. The girls already said they weren’t going.
