This type of response is what confuses people new to club lacrosse and stirs the part. The 24s played the Balto teams all throughout MS which is the point of the NGLL. The point of development and tournaments in HS is to not just play them. Monsters, CT Grizzlies, STEPS, Team180, MDUnited. Do u have time to analyze the 24a schedule for the last 2 years? Every game counts, please stop the tearing down and lies.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Not true. 24s were in A brackets all last summer, and throughout their trajectory in MS, as well LLL this past weekend. I am the 25M parent poster from earlier and I have watched all of this since MS and that is why we sticked around. Certain tournaments they played in “perceived” lower bracket to play new teams who have quality players. It worked out for the girls who wanted to be recruited. They may have lost a ton but they have played againt the best players in the country and it helped them prepare for HS, where they are not too shabby. That is development, fingers crossed for my DD.
this is 10000% false - if so when was the last time you played Hero's, M&D or Skywalkers? Let along Aces or Jesters etc.

this! some parents just don't get it

Looks like MC imploded a bit for a about 5 years (2025-2029) but has since recovered. The 2030s look like a great team and hopefully they can build on that and work to make their HS teams more attractive then the issue with the MS teams will fort themselves out.

For club lacrosse starting in MS I thought it was about the best place for my DD to grow as a lax player not what “team” is good at any given moment b/c that could change. My DD had a great time doing the player development program this spring. MC Elite has been at SR fields for years so that is a good sign, must be a good customer. Perfect location for us and HS and college athletes success seems good. Looking forward to tryouts.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:You have to look at each team individually. The 27 MCE team is no where to be found. Sounds like the 24’s were good. BLC is similar. Very good 27 team but the other years are lower tier. Stars and Pride are the most consistent but even they have years when they are not as strong.
I would agree with this. To add to the Stars and Pride comment. All of the Pride middle school teams are solid, but once the girls get into high school, they all leave for better teams, mainly Capital, but others as well. Stars had some good teams too - 26’s for example. They, like Pride girls, often leave the program after middle school. Stars 27’s and below aren’t as good as the Pride teams though.
I would really read through this thread hard the complaints you will read are not from one age group or one parent this club currently is toxic. Please don’t drink the we have the best coaches crap either the coaching is sub par when they show up. Look at the website look at the coaches and see how many of the coaches are former HS coaches and very short tenures for a few only a season or two.
