I agree. It is great so many local kids are committing, regardless of what high school they attend. In many cases they are using it to help get them get into top schools that may otherwise be a reach for them, and will be able to continue to play a sport they love. It is sad to see certain people on this forum, due to their own negativity or jealousy, be dismissive of the achievements of and hard work by these teenagers.

Congrats to the kids who get committed. It's a big achievement and should be celebrated. Not to mention it also means these kids don't have to go through the nightmare college application process that non-committed kids have to go through.

Ah, yes! Because everyone who posts on here that says something you don't like has a kid who did not make the team! Of course! Why else would you have an opinion?! Wow, I feel shocked Cotton!

Sorry your kid got passed over but most of these kids do play and this area gets ton of kids comitted. Why be so bitter?

Because it’s a spring season outlook. Commitments show potential strength and depth of a high school team which in turn can help predict how well they might do in the spring. Besides, what else is there to talk about in the off season.
