NCS parent here. I got to page 4 and that is all I could manage.

OP, I also have a daughter in lower high school and I sincerely hope that you never come into my orbit. If you cannot see how misguided all of your posts are, then you should take some time to revaluate yourself. I am embarrassed that you are part of our school community. For anyone else reading this, most NCS parents I know are wonderful people who are far more adjusted (and frankly more pleasant) than the OP. Please don't judge the rest of us by her rantings and personal failings.

This. We moved and at the new school, DD re-wrote her first paper 7 times and hoped she’d get a B. She got 100. She was used to NCS standards.

I'm an alumna. My "highly selective" college was much easier than NCS. Talk to most NCS grads and they will say the same. Yes, it prepared me well but I will never feel any fondness for the place. I would never choose it for my daughter.

My friends from work or grad school who I knew went there wouldn’t even return my calls when I wanted references on the school. True things could have changed since class of late 1990s but yikes.

So unnecessary to overdo things so much. Maybe if you were a ranger or navy seal but not a teen Hs student.

“A” students work for the “B” students and “C” students donate the buildings.
