Just like the ISL, there is a large difference in talent between the top teams and the next tier. For VISAA there are 4 top teams - Saints, BI, STAB and PVI. None of the rest are worth much regardless of ranking. Quarter final results were predictable.

That's just since the league has had records. There are probably twice that many banners in the SSSAS gym. Don't believe that any other ISL team has more than one (and only one other has even the one)

So looks like Saints on track to win VA states again too. No one really standing in their way - BI, PVI and STAB only other contenders and none look capable of beating Saints.

Agreed. Most games had 5-7 girls scoring, tough re-defend by all, great teamwork and unselfish play rather than star performances. And when they lost the top draw player to a head injury in the second half they did not miss a beat in readjusting. Great season for an underrated group of players.

KJ is great. However, these girls were patient, waited their turn, unselfish and when it was their time, they performed. Job well done ladies.

Congrats to St. Stephen’s on their tournament wins. The future is bright for the ISL! Great one point games between the top three teams over the past week.

Kathy really is the goat. This years team succeeded because she is such a great coach. Pulled those girls together and got them all giving their best as a team. Very impressive.
