It's kind of tricky, and you may need to enlarge your screen, but you can hover over the vertical bars at the bottom of the graphic, and hover over text will display the rate for that specific day.

And both 11/1 and 11/2 show the same rate. Which is definitely possible, but given the problems they (and MCPS) have had with data, its also possible they have an error on the back end


Correction, however over the actual chart, not the bars underneath.

But if you look at positivity rate, its been at exactly 1.5% on 10/31, 11/1, and now 11/2. Which again, is possible, but seems unlikely. So I suspect they have a data or back end calculation issue

Just about nowhere. Everyone else is living life pretty much back to normal in most of the country with no more or less cases/deaths than the DMV.

If we lived in FL, I might sympathize, but this isn't FL. Our vaxx rate is pretty high.

You could always just get everything delivered if you are that concerned.

Council meets today as board of health and they are expected to revise the order to require 7 days in substantial transmission before reinstating the mask mandate. It's going down again, but hasn't left substantial. So we will see.

No, it's not a thing. There is no way the police will enforce mask policies when they've been told not to enforce low-level crime in general due to the racial disparities they generate in arrest rates.


On the contrary, I’m sure they’ll be happy to enforce it on some white suburban woman who’s vaccinated and thinks masks are virtue signaling or theatre. They’ll be happy to enforce the hell outta her.
