He is very disappointing. I saw him interviewed and all he talked about was Canadian Hockey.

I know everyone loves this show and I love Kyle Chandler a d Connie Britton, but the pilot is so cheesy and so soapy, especially the girlfriend character. Not sure I can keep going.

He and his grandma were the best! I did see him in something else and he was good, but I can't remember what!

Season 3 was okay, not great. Seasons 1, 4, and 5 were the best.

And I obviously mean Season 2...the whole Landry and Tyra thing.

Everyone feels that way, it seems but I didn’t mind her so much.

But there was enough in there that we could talk about it - sex, driving, curfews, drinking, sports injuries...it was great fodder for the kinds of talks we need to have with our teen. So does football come back front and center in season 3, or does the drama just get back on track?

To an extent, season 2 is a mess, so I wouldn't let it scare you away. Season 3 is an improvement, although a lot of the drama is coaching staff, and the main kids preparing to graduate. I think season 4 is a pretty solid football season, and is probably as good as the first season, in my opinion (with the exception of one off the rails plot.)

Ohh, Matt Saracen was wonderful!

He's almost 40! He's married with a 3.5 yr old daughter, and he's been on other shows since then. The only thing I caught him on was Law & Order SVU though.

YES! I'm rewatching it now and, damn! I love Tim Riggins. I might love Tim Riggins more than Dylan. (RIP, Luke Perry)

I saw the Matt Saracen "everyone leaves me" scene yesterday. so good.

It's not a football show. I mean, yes, it all revolves around a football coach and a Texas town that is all about football but this series is more about marriage, coming of age etc So no, if your teen is looking for sport talk....this may not be the show for him. If he wants sport talk with other themes, it's perfect.
