I worked 5 days a week, but I’ll be sure to work slightly less on your kids now.![]()
Yep, I feel the same way. If the parents continue to insult us, they’ll definitely get less. I can happily give them what the “think” we work.
All that effort paid off. Just look at the SOL results for the proof of the extensive teaching/learning that happened last year.
Whine more. It's such a cute look.
Are you stating that the SOLs improved? Or at least stayed even?

I worked 6 days per week last year. I also spent over $1000 preparing my home for distance learning, so this bonus will help pay back a little of that cost.

I live in Loudoun, with no step increase this year, it’s makes more sense financially for me to go back to LCPS.
If you go to Loudoun you will get two years of step increases right upon hiring.
What is their maximum entry step?

Go to hell. I worked 60+ hours every week, some closer to 80. My mariahe and child suffered greatly. You are a horrible, horrible person.
It was your unions that created the problems. Many of us work 60-80 hours a week on a regular basis, not just last year. Overall, teaching was a disgrace in this area last year. Maybe you were the exception, and if so, that I applaud you. But many, many of your teacher kinsfolk weren't and learning suffered greatly across the board.
Unions? You’re misinformed.
+1

Much of the FCPS parenting I see in a regular basis is a disgrace.
