I don’t care if she does or not, but she said she only has Snapchat now. It’s sad I must disclaim this on here because so many people have bad relationships with their kids.

Yes, I think this generation is a bit more comfortable with showing their true feelings, even widely on social media. I can't remember if I was homesick at first (I definitely was at some point), but everyone was trying to be fun and show how happy they were, except maybe with closest friends/family.
