Sure, I mean your asymptomatic kid could pass it to someone who is high risk and they might die, but no worries for you!
Hey if you’re an adult who didn’t vax by choice, that’s your decision. I’m done making my kids take care of you when you won’t do your part. My kids mask and we mitigate but if they get asymptomatic Covid and give it to an unvaccinated adult not really sure what else I should have done.
Ok, I agree with the unvacc adult part. But you do realize they could also give it to… vaccinated teens and adults? Unvaccinated children? Immunocompromised children and adults?? Right????

Agree.
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:No way am I signing up for this. If my asymptomatic kid tests positive, all three of his siblings need to miss two+ weeks of school? No way, especially since no one else in their class will have to quarantine.
Oh OK, so it’s fine for them to asymptomatically spread it to an at risk individual? Like my child, or sports coach who has an elderly family member, or to one of your own family members? I’ve never been so sickened by people than in this past year. Pure selfishness. And all so their kids won’t miss two weeks of school.

Takes 2 seconds. Not invasive.
Kids will be fine. It's the freak-out parents who can't deal.
It’s not 2 seconds, it’s 15 seconds in each nostril (https://www.resourcepath.net/mid-nasal-swab/). For young kids who have had barely any “normal” school in the past two years, it’s invasive. Will I keep them home if symptomatic or if we’ve potentially been exposed, yes. Will I take them to our pediatrician to have them tested, yes. Do I want a someone they don’t know swabbing their nose randomly, no.
