obviously not SCA people. SCA people don’t even get raises unless they are minimum wageAnonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:I work with a staff of IT contractors. Their salary is easily $50k-$100k higher than what their fed managers make. AND their contracts are written so they get federal holidays off. (Today I learned on DCUM that this is not normal.) Yet they are quick to test positive for COVID and come to work anyway because they don't want to use their PTO. They whine about not having separate sick leave or the amount of annual leave federal employees get, but not a single one of them would take the pay cut to leave their contractor. It's insane.
Same with our fed contractors. Tons of whining, but the salary is better than feds. Just get new jobs and stop whining!

Let's say you make $1000 a day. Please start setting aside $100 a month so you can survive the depravations of Juneteenth.
How many times do I have to say it? I have medical issues I need all my leave for that. I haven’t been on a vacation in 12 years. And it was two days this year I was forced to use PTO

which one was this ?Anonymous wrote:Find a new employer. My old company (huge fed contractor), gave 5 weeks of leave and most paid federal holidays. If you didn’t want to take one off, most times you could find something billable to do - training, etc.
