Bought a Sienna when our kids were little. Drove it for 15 years with few repairs needed. Loaned it out to a family member who needed it. Sold it at CarMax for 2K with 180,000 miles on it. Do the math. If you can make yourself keep it longterm, it's not a bad deal. If you are the type to want to trade in ever few years, don't do it. Buy a used car and then always have a car payment.

Buy aftermarket floor mats and see if your car insurance has a breakdown insurance clause (mine does, but you have to take it when you first get the car; can’t add it later).
