That “FCV” coach at William and Mary was at fcv for less than 4 months. She was there because her daughters played there.
And the “fcv coach” at GMU is married to the fcv director. Never been a head coach at fcv.
When you bring in quality coaches they are apt to get hired away, but I appreciated having those coaches - and other coaches at that level - running training sessions for my kid. I’d rather that than having my kid at a club that doesn’t have any coaches that will ever be considered for a college coaching job.

Many of the top youth coaches in NOVA could be coaching college teams if they wanted to, but they choose to coach youth. Just like college coaches choose to coach college instead of youth or some college coaches choose to coach college instead of professional.
