Nah- Plenty of guys told me I was beautiful. I never believed them as they probably say it to everyone as a pick up line.

Actual answer: For me I am never that interested in male compliments as they may be lying to get into my pants. The most sincere compliments have been when young girls want to look like me or hope to turn into me when they grow up.

Same! I was super awkward/gawky as a kid. Kind of the classic ugly duckling thing.
I think this happens to a lot of women who have really boyish figures. We don’t get attention when we are younger unless we have very beautiful faces and/or lots of confidence (I had neither). But the girls who develop early and tend to get a lot of male attention in HS/college/20s dating scene are also more likely to put on weight in their 30s, especially if they have kids. I got more attractive to men by virtue if just staying slim (it’s genetic) while many of my previously prettier peers gained weight.
I also had bad acne in my late teens and into my 20s that went away in my 30s, and I started dressing better and investing money in my hair in my 30s because I had steady income.
I definitely think I was bottom third in my teens/early 20s, and now in my 40s I’m top third. Life is weird.

Doesn’t seem like there’s a lot of guy responses - so I’ll throw in my response. I’m 50, 6’2”, in good shape and get told I look Eric Bana or Pedro Pascal at least monthly. I went to the hardware store a few days ago and one of the employees said “Eric Bana! What can I help you with?” Also, my wife tells me I’m good looking regularly and random women will occasionally look, flirt and accidentally run their hands across my chest and shoulders if I’m out at a bar.
The funny thing is, in my early years of college it’s like I was completely invisible to women and always assumed I wasn’t attractive. I guess some people look better older than younger.

I work as a corporate trainer. I'm one of three female instructors at the time and one of the male instructors left and we were hiring a new one. I recommended a former coworker to my boss for the instructor position and she point blank asked me if they were pretty because she only hires female instructors that are pretty.

If I can still feel the male gaze when I enter a room, then I know I'm still looking good. The pandemic made this test impossible. I rarely went out even before the pandemic, but it is flattering when it happens.

finally ok if you are drunk (3s, 4s) .. name says it all. most guys are not interested but will still bang you if they are drunk enough. so you will get attention but mostly at bars, clubs and from horny desperate guys
What category are the women who get lots of stares and people act weird around them but they rarely if ever get asked out

Hate to admit it but this guy is about right. You can tell by how people react to you.
I have friend who is a 9-10 and modeled. It is fascinating to be with her and see how people react to her - literally men fall over themselves to talk to her and women flock to her. She also has the personality to work it. I truly believe she gets whatever she wants. And also she's a nice person.
My 20 year old daughter is quite attractive ( an 8) and people have commented on her looks since she was a toddler. She's stunning but doesn't have an attitude about it. She's used to people kind of gawking at her.
I'm a 6, but now that I'm over 50 I might be 7 for my age group because everyone else has let themselves go. Haha!
