They were also extremely lucky to even medal as Netherlands was mostly better in the quarterfinal. They also nearly lost to Spain in the Round of 16 in the World Cup in 2019. Margins are much smaller right now compared to previous years and the team is going to need a rebuild. There is a ton of talent coming up so it isn't like this team will fall apart but definitely some uncertainty heading toward 2023.
