I hated the lockdowns and they didn’t even work.

I spent less money, ate healthier, my family and I connected and created space to separate when we needed to. Yeah it was hard, but we created a pod seeing only our parents, sibling and their kids. We went outside, in our yard, our parks, etc. there is a way to be locked down and still be safe. Singles may not have these options, but I have a single sibling and he had interaction with us.
The only reason I don’t want an extended one is because children need to be on school, without guardians yo develop socially. Other than that, I’ll take it. And looks like it may happen sometime soon
You are more than welcome to go back to lock down life on your own.
No need to force others to follow your own restrictive proclivities.

I hung out with my family but really missed seeing friends and going out to movies and restaurants. My kids missed going to school and interacting with their friends every day. Seeing people only outside gets old.
Agree. I really don't get these people who are HOPING for another lockdown.

As a single person in a 600 square foot condo, I hated lockdowns, and I never really followed them in the sense that you stay literally indoors in your home. Yeah, screw that. Fine with me if you like staying home, but don’t you dare impose that on my vaccinated, mask-complient arse. No I will not stay home.
Big talker. You will stay home if you are ordered to by law. That’s what was missing from the last lockdown. No teeth in the order. Next time we’ll go the Canadian route. Get caught outside, go to jail, stay in jail for the duration of the lockdown.
Not sure if this is a joke?
Filling up prisons would make the pandemic worse. And why discourage low risk outdoor activity at all? Sun and fresh air keep you well. Access to the outdoors is our birthright as living beings.
Especially when they released or refrained from jailing the actual criminals in many areas.
Newsflash! If you are violating a lockdown/stay-at-home order YOU ARE AN ACTUAL CRIMINAL!
I’d much rather see some petty thief or drug dealer released to make room for people who are out spreading a deadly contagious illness.
