Something sweet never belongs on a salad. Ever!
Heartily disagree...love grapes, apples, and strawberries in salad. Agree about adding hardboiled egg, avocado, chickpeas, pecans, a little parmesan, corn, and yes, even croutons too to balance it out (and not necessarily all these things at one time)....this is not a sophisticated salad and the keto people will scoff at the carbs, but these treats are what helps me eat greens regularly. Otherwise I would avoid them. And yes, I even add (horror of horrors) jarred dressing, like paneras fugi apple.

Go Away!
Not about a weight/diet. I just find anything sweet in salad to be unappealing. Fruit/honey/sugar doesn’t belong in salad. Unless it is a fruit salad. But just my opinion.
Okay then don’t make it. But go away with your opinion on somebody else’s salad.
I hate cucumbers I’m not going to say “no cucumbers!!!!”.
