Does that excuse OP from not wanting to get up several times a night to the point of being non-functional the following days? It’s unsafe. Going to the bathroom every 90 minutes in the night is a medical condition, and one that may be treatable, in which case the need will diminish.

Sleeping is as much of a need. If you don’t get enough sleep, it can literally drive you mad.

OP, I am a frequent urinator. I am very irritated by and aware of any liquid in my bladder. It's distracting and impossible to sleep if my bladder is going" Hey! Hey! Hey!". It might be a small amount but it's just enough to bother me.
Your mom may have some issues relating to wetting the bed from childhood. She might not even remember why she's so worried about urinating in the bed.
Can you talk to the doctor about getting her a safe sleeping pill to help her stay asleep despite the "Hey" from her bladder? A Lay-Z-Boy (even purchased used) could be a good option, or renting a hospital bed with a lift. Maybe even a bed wedge so she doesn't fully recline and can get herself up?

Did she have this issue before her fall?How much is she peeing when she gets up every 90 minutes?

I usually sleep through the night at home, but when I stay in a strange place, I wake up. Once I wake up, I have to get up and go pee or I can't fall back asleep. I also wake up frequently during the night if I've injured some body part. Especially when I roll over onto it, it hurts and the pain wakes me up.

She might already be on too much medication, but it might be worth trying a sleeping pill at night. It might knock her out for at least 4 hours. Not great, but could give you a longer stretch of sleep. If a sleeping pill is too much, try something like Tylenol PM. It works for me when I have some muscle pain that would otherwise wake me up.

Is she shifting her weight onto her shoulder during her sleep? If so, that might be what is waking her up. See if you can position some pillows or something else to prevent her from rolling over onto her shoulder.

Is this a new issue with medicine or an ongoing issue? Is vaginal mesh or pelvic PT an option for the future if this is ongoing?

When I was pregnant I wanted to pee every 1.5 hours at night too. I had to cut myself off from liquids at 8pm or 3 hours before bedtime. And then I laid down for 30-60 minutes before I went to bed. Your kidneys work better when you're horizontal so this helped.

Another option. When my retired BIL was in a similar type of situation, we were able to get a very comfortable big lounge chair. It was an overstuffed, large lounge chair that reclined almost to a full supine position (it was slightly angled at the waist and slightly tilted. He was able to control the lounger with the lever on the side. He could sit down, pull the lever, the footrest would come up, the lounger would flatten out nearly fully and when he leaned back it inclined so that he was essentially laying down. When he needed to get up, he could move the lever on the side and it would return to the sitting position and would be able to rock back and forth slightly. The rocking could leverage him forward enough so that he was leaning over his knees enough to be able to stand up on his own. He slept in that lounge chair for a few weeks.

We purchased the lounge chair from the Habitat for Humanity ReStore and it cost about $150 for one that retails for about $700-800. It was definitely worth it.

RN who's answered a couple of times here: has she been checked for a UTI? I'm hoping so, but her frequent urination, irritation and fall are all classic signs.
