I love kids and babies and even teenagers. Sure, there are some I don’t like as much as others but in general I like ages 0-18 better than I like most adults.

I’ll never understand random baby obsession though. I was worried I wouldn’t make a good mom specifically because most babies do nothing for me. I though I was missing some maternal gene or something. But it’s totally different when it’s your baby. I finally got what the fuss was about. But I’m STILL not into other people’s babies. They don’t do anything! I don’t even find them that cute. 4 year olds are definitely cuter, plus they are funny and interesting too.
Ha ha this is how I felt. I'd watch my colleagues swarm around another colleague with a baby and not really get it. Fortunately my baby is the cutest ever!
Haven't been a mom long enough to see if it shifts how I am/feel around babies. I was good with the elementary age kid crowd though although feelings still fairly neutral.

I love babies and kids. I get that sometimes they cry or throw tantrums or behave selfishly, they are still learning how to be people.

Birth to 8 yrs is my favorite of all time. And I love toddlers because they are cuteness personified.
I think I have been very lucky to have really great kids in my life. Also, I haven't had to ever deal with kids who have behavioral problem.

You are internalizing way too much. They are not talking about you at all at home. The kids you are taking about do this to everyone (until it’s nipped in the bud), not just you.
To answer OP’s question, I love most kids. Some of them are really annoying.
