I don’t watch it either. It was a quote from the article. But stuff like this bugs me about reality shows. It’s like when they walk into a restaurant and say their last name for the reservation and no one is saying, “oh my gosh! Can I get a pic?” So staged

Didn’t she get a 474 out of 560? Is that really good or just average? I know one of the attorneys that has been helping her study and said she was genuinely trying to learn so I give her kudos for that.

What's interesting is that things that didn't make sense the first time around clicked the second because I had more life experience. You could do it again if needed.

But a soon-to-be divorced mom trying to do this in her 40s is inspiring to me. This is probably the coolest thing Kim has ever tried. I don’t get the hate.

It may not be the path to becoming lawyer any of us would take, but it's there for a reason, and it's a legitimate path.
First year of law school (which this essential tested on in terms of content) is the hardest for anyone.

The first year of law school is the hardest because (1) law school classes are curved (2) the amount of studying involved. She doesn’t have to deal with (1) and obviously didn’t do enough of (2)

Yeah, I took a second bar in my 40s working FT and with 3 kids. (I was working FT when I took my first two.) It's not that bad, really, although I wouldn't say it was a fun thing to do. 90% of what is on any bar exam I did not learn in law school, so it's not like law school was a real help. It was all just studying for the bar and learning the basics. Probably easier than right out of law school, because right out of law school you have all the philosophy and policy arguments in your head, which are actually a hindrance in the bar exam. Bar exam is more like studying for the written part of the driver's exam (but of course a lot harder) -- some of it you can intuit from experience and some of it you just have to memorize.

Every legal and firm website almost always lists where an attorney earned their BA and JD from, and typically whether or not they graduated with honors. Maybe discount a bit for URM, other than that, easy to tease out candle power. In Kim's case the BA and JD fields would be empty, and for the rest of her life people can Google she failed her first attempt. This is not a bright person. This is not even an American of average intelligence. This is an aging prostitute increasingly desperate to cling to some relevancy and a career pivot. Even the divorce is strategic to keep her name in the news and engaging on social media. This family is sick trash.
