Wow. These suits seem fine. Holy crap do I wear more revealing swimsuits to our community pool. I’m in my late 30s and athletic, and I wear what’s fashionable - not string bikinis but definitely plunge, high leg swimsuits.

I think it’s fine, but you gotta own it, because you will definitely stand out in the sea of lands end tankinis.

Im no prude but I just find these cheeky bottoms impractical. If your butt is too big you’ll get a wedgie and if it’s too small it also hangs funny. My extremely fit 13 year old bought one and had to return it. In general it’s bad design which I really think can be explained by efforts to get more suits out of a swath of fabric.

OP here. Good point. There has always been a roughly equal proportion of bikinis and one-pieces, but I never paid attention to the bottom coverage. I've never seen a thong.

Wouldn't be an issue at our pool. The only time I've heard a lot of gossiping and the reaction people are posting abiut here is when a mom wore an actual thong bikini

Family pool? Only if you don't care that some will be talking about you. Resort? Sure. Vacation, yes. Right or wrong, most moms want to look like moms at community pools, not like the "hot mom" that everyone talks about. And if you want to be the hot mom then you better be hot.

Honest to god, one mom had swim capris? and a long sleeve rash guard at ours. It reminded me of those modesty suits the Duggars wear.
