I'm 5'4". I think my now 16 year old surpassed me around age 14. He's now 5'9" and I suspect still growing.

I'm 5'7" and he just passed me at 14 years and 4 month. His father is not too tall - 5'11" I believe, but I see him getting much taller than both of us.
I was a later bloomer (14-15) and so is DC.

Same. My boys are late growers. Older son didn't hit a serious growth spurt until 14.5 when I was still taller than him at 5'5'. He's now 15.5 (still growing) and 5'11". Predicted to be about 6"-6'2".

My just turned 13-year old seems to be growing even later than older one and still has most of his baby teeth.

With my older one, when that growth spurt happened it was fast. Pictures over a 6-month period are pretty incredible.

I'm 5'4". DS1 hit my height at 12. He is now 22 and 6'2".

DS2 hit 5'4" at 13. Now 18 and 6'1" and I think still growing.

I'm 5'8". DS turned 13 last fall and just passed me up a couple months ago. We could actually measure it week by week. In January I still had a smidge on him. By early Feb we were even, and a week later the level tilted the wrong direction. But he's grown 4-5 inches per year since he was 11, so it was expected. And his feet grew another size and a half in the last 6 months (now a men's 13!!), so he's not done yet. The stretch marks are real.

Any tall moms have sons who never surpassed them or ended up right around their height?

13. He grew 5+ inches between 13 and 14 year old check ups.

DH is maybe 5’10” if he stands up really straight.

At 16, DS is 6’2”

I'm 5'5" and my 12 year old is exactly the same, according to his recent physical. DH is over 6' and our son has always been one of the tallest kids in his class.

At 10 he was my height (5'6) by 11 he was taller than me.

Late bloomers.

I’m 5’7” they are now 6’2”

I'm just shy of 5'10 and DS got me at 14 in the 8th grade. He got DH (6'0) this fall at 15 and 9th grade.

DD is our short one. She's unlikely to pass me at all.

Youngest DS is huge compared to everyone and will either be an early bloomer and top out at 5'8 or blow past everyone.

I'm 5'8.5", DH is 5'9/5'10". DD maxed out at 5'3.5", DS just passed me this year at age 14.5 and looks to be on his way to 6'.
