I actually think the Gwyneth photo is an example of it not looking good…fashionable, perhaps, but imo it looks kind of clunky.

But I think something like a tshirt dress with Vans or Adidas looks pretty cute.

Reebock classic in all white. More comfortable than a shoe like keds or tretorns in my opinion (although I wear those too sometimes, just not when I am going to out for a while).

I am grown AF and wear Vans with my dresses. I am, in fact, so grown I have the kind with the extra cushioning in the foot bed, which I highly recommend.
