It’s the same crap that happened when Loudoun ran ODP. It was all Loudoun kids handpicked by Loudoun coaches.

FCV and Loudoun should merge and become one big bickering family.

Not to mention that one hundred percent of the clubs listed are very expensive and play in very high travel burden leagues. Even if a club excused the fees - the travel is a beast.

You are telling me they cant go out and find even one talented player from a club that does not cost an arm and a leg? No. No they can't. Because they need to give out all the spots to the same old clubs.

Nothing against any of the players who I am sure are very talented. But the system stinks like a corrupt cesspool.

It is small. Too small for multiples of kids from the same-old same-old one or two clubs to all fit. What an amazing coinkydink that the areas best talent always just happens to live near the same few clubs.

Sorry. It really is not a good look.

This little piggy had none.

The sour grapes with FCV is so hilarious. Those that want to tear them down continually have excuses and proclamations of their demise. Nobody can predict, so save your breath. Meanwhile, celebrate the girls from the area getting a great opportunity. I know that's hard because your kid wasn't selected but the tip of the pyramid is small. Best to realize sooner rather than later.

LOL! A feeder for Loudoun....nope Loudoun will continue to be a feeder for other clubs as they’ve always been. Losing top players each year to better programs with a better pathway. Loudoun thought ECNL would be the key to not losing top players. Well.....still happening.

Loudoun’s travel size has decreased 28%.

Don’t spread the word. We want to retain as many people as possible. That’s why gray and white team players are now becoming black and red team players.

Next year it will be down another 28%. Didn’t help that they gave RA more power.

Does using a specific integer make you think people will take this garbage seriously? There is a 0% chance they are down 28%.

Posts removed regarding US Soccer scout’s close relationship with FCV. Too funny!

What does this mean and why is it posted 3 times on this subject? Just being an a$$?

Funny, I literally just figured this out yesterday -- I think. Aunt Becky was the character played by Lori Loughlin on Full House. She went to jail in the college admissions scandal last year.... Thinking that's what they reference is?

It’s meant to suggest that there are parents out there that will use influence to obtain prestigious positions for their children even if they lack merit for it. It happens everyday in every aspect of life.

Becoming friends with the shot callers is the easiest method. Some call is networking…to each their own. Not my thing

oh got it! I guess I feel bad for the 4 players left on that FCV team that weren't picked. They must live in a different county and can't carpool or make it to Avatus.

Not enough seats in the SUV for the whole team. So scout's DD and friends come first. Sorry.

There are thousands if not millions of talented 05/06 players, as you we’ll know, you need the right connections, networking, club, coach, etc. Your own team has several talented players who don’t have coach and club support and That are marginalized.

Fully agree! Isn’t first step to get the coach recommendations? Rumors are that coaches are pushed by parents to get their kids onto those camps when their kids do not really have the full potential. It purely propaganda.
