Dream job!
We just did this too with a flight nanny. 8 week old puppy, cross country with a layover half-way. Great experience for all. Puppy arrived safe and happy.

The breeder said they've shipped their puppies with Alaska Air for 40 years with no issues. My husband is thinking of flying out with our 9 year old to pick her up and fly her home in-cabin.
She'll be just 8 weeks old and she's a very large breed, but the breeder said they haven't had a dog denied at the gate for in-cabin flights.
As a first time puppy parent, I'm at a loss. Should I ship her via plane, send the family to do it, or pay for pet land transport (if that's a thing across country?)
Thanks!

You can tell because A) they are breeding mutts and giving them a fancy designer name and B) they are willing to ship an 8-week puppy. No reputable breeder would do either of those things.
OP, you and the breeder both suck.

And this is why you don’t give too much info on anonymous boards. People are so invasive.
But your decision to have your DH get the dog is the best option if you’re going with this breeder. Good luck!!
How can they say 'best of both breeds'? That's like saying that our kids are going to have my husband's height and math brain and temperament, my eye color and curly hair. Instead they might have as well be short, have my art brain and quick temper, and his eye color and baldness.

I'm going to have my husband fly out and pick her up.
Thank you for the helpful replies.
