OMG get over it, you no longer work there. You're constantly on their social media pages trying to criticize every single thing. Move on!!!

LMV is now the small neighborhood club using “academy” style to squeeze out 2 teams per age group if they are lucky. Ultimately boils down to finding a good coach/fit for your player. We personally wouldn’t return to LMV if they paid us 😂
And that's ok that they are the small neighborhood club. I believe that they have good coaches that teach the game well and are improving their players (mine included). We are happy with our DC's coach and he has enjoyed working with others on different days that are not his main coach. I do wish others from outside would see that and look to make a change for better coaching instead of the size of the club.
I think others feel so betrayed by the lack of leadership from LB. At this point the club has such a bad reputation even a positive experience like yours isn't acknowledged.

He recently accepted a new teaching position and club position down there after fulfilling his duties @ Robinson and LMVSC. The club hired the coach of Marymount to replace Bobby.
Unsure why his twin brother, Tony, did not return for 2021-2022.
Thanks LB....Rob still teaches at Robinson.
Did you sleep through reading comprehension, or are you just that stupid? Bobby moved his family to Ruchmond earlier this school year. He continues to teach at Robinson until the school year ends. He did the same thing with LMVSC, coaching until the end. Next year, he will not return to either, having taken positions in Richmond.
I'll use crayon next time for you.
Bobby was living in Richmond before the season and trying to coach the team while commuting in Alexandria. It was a less-than-ideal situation and there were lots of issues. Tony is going to coach a McLean/SYC ECNL team next year. He should do really well there.
haha. SYC is having tryouts, come on over too. We left with no regrets!

Serious about soccer, good role models, encouraging to the players, and reasonably tempered. I have experienced terrible coaches. So for these two men, I am grateful. The club has handled covid well. Not overreacting but reasonable measures that have kept the kids safe. I think the club is a good option for people who live close by and are not necessarily looking for the most competitive team in the area. For that option, there are other clubs that are good choices. Just wanted to offer a different perspective for anyone who is looking still. I, of course, have had my issues with the club over the years. But we will stay the course snd my kids have really benefitted from their coaches. These coaches are returning and taking on their teams again next season.
