This list is what I looked at last year for actual schools for my child. The more competitive ones seemed a good bet and I became aware of some lesser known but nice schools too. Worked well.

+1 West Point is on this list. I don't think they are hurting for applicants.

Given the pandemic and uncertainty about Trump in 2020 (+ his wild antics to overthrow the election), I'm wondering if service academy applications were down. And, unlike regular universities, they won't lower the bar to let in applicants who otherwise don't meet standards.

I know two kids who got into both West Point and Annapolis. They both chose Annapolis.

Adelphi

Something for everyone, imho. Lots of Catholic universities with availability, if you're into.

That’s not kind 28 is a perfectly fine Score -and if not an engineering applicant it doesn’t matter what engineering apps have.

+1 28 is the 89% and just over 1300 SAT equivalent. Who says it is not good? People are nuts here!!
