OP, perhaps start drinking an herbal tea to help her digestive enzymes. You could drink it with her for health reasons so she doesn't suspect it's about how she smells.

This is so weird. I am around a lot of old people (late 80s and 90s) and none of them smell.

What does she eat? The only people I know who have an odor despite bathing regularly and thoroughly have a diet that causes the smell.

I did know a guy who had a very bad smell that he said was caused by his digestive track. I also know that he didn't bath well or brush his teeth regularly.

I about vomit when I have to go to a senior center. The smell. To me it is a day old musty smell. Like when dogs are out in the rain to long.

I'm menopausal and my pits and crotch do stink, and Lume seems to help. Sweat seems to be pouring off my body all the time.

It's actually a natural part of the aging process but people have decided it smells bad now

I don’t think a lot of people can smell themselves on regular basis, they just get used to it.

I am 62 and am beginning to get the noneal smell. I can smell it on myself, I don’t feel like my hair ever smells truly clean. I am horrified that I smell like this. I would welcome a caring individual to offer me assistance with this.. if you can smell it, she can smell it.. I have ordered persimmon soap (originally for spouse) but now for me, I also have Lume’ and will be using baking soda, and vinegar in my laundry.

We used one of the odor absorbing gels that come in a tub for my grandmother’s room and bathroom. You leave it open and the gel absorbs bad smells, then you toss it when it’s dried up and get another. We bought it at a medical supply store I think and I can’t remember the brand but googling turns up a whole bunch of brands that make it now.
I am also a huge fan of high quality air filters for eliminating all sorts of odors. Like a Dyson. They are very quiet and help eliminate germs and allergens too.
You might also try oxy clean odor blaster in the laundry or an enzyme eliminating product. I use the oxy clean on my sons stinky clothes. Teen boy is worse than old lady.

Look at Japanese products.
It is well known in Japan there is name for it.
You have to clean your ears and behind your ears.

I understand vinegar set out in bowls is what is used to get out odor when a person has died in a house. I would try this.

Also, my sister-in-law told me about electronic diffusers she has that scent up an entire floor of her house. She has one for each floor. I don't remember the name of the product but she said Amazon carries them. They were a little pricy. I believe each one cost her several hundred dollars. She loves them.

I received some nice clothes but has old man smell.
I washed them with OdoBan in washing machine.
Took that smell out
