Also, what exactly is the point to consolidate the best 36 while throwing away the other 100. You trust the system to be free of politics and fair. You believe all kids will stay the same?
Are you will to throw away talent song your kid can beat Real SoCal?
I posted the original. Why is narrowing the elite clubs to two “throwing the other kids away?” They would still play on non ECNL teams and have the chance to compete for ECNL positions on those teams. By the way, the next tier would be much better in that scenario and it would be much healthier for all involved. And what’s wrong with fielding local teams that can compete nationally? That’s how I’d define elite, not the watered down s show we have today.
Competing nationally for youth soccer and other youth sports is stupid and is for one thing only..to monetize youth sports. Hardly ANY of these so called national superstars in these country club, fancy, "national leagues" will be pro or will ever get anyone to spend a dime to watch them play.
This is about marketing a product to affluent families, not about soccer.
Instead of being a ranting nut how about breathing. The kids don’t play nationally. They play regionally. Understand? How about you step away and relax instead of making accusations that have zero merit and not based in reality.
Look at the where all the teams are from. Can you read?
I can read but you don’t make sense. At all. In any shape, form or fashion.

Lol. We should have one elite team in the country....oh wait
They’re not even elite anymore. No technical development. Rely on speed and strength that’s why Sweden which is also a big fast team matches up well with them.
How’d that France game go? Yeah, that’s what I thought Euro trash.
Sweden is different than france? Yeah. That’s what I thought idiot.

My lord. Kids play within their Division which is based on region. There is a one time national playoff in the summer.

Anonymous wrote:I would think that a top notch coach should be put together an elite level team in NOVA area by both developing and recruiting players. The problem with dilution is not that there is lack of talent but most DA and ECNL coaches in our area have no clue about how ot develop talent and depend on recruitment too heavily.
