Lol. This is too funny. FCV dad must be getting really desperate.

So much talent? I am just an idiot soccer patent but the players I saw recruited to the top college soccer programs were legitimately freakishly strong players. The ones that really stood out at ID events like training centers where almost all the players are strong. ( There are always a few weak players at these events that I am guessing are included for political reasons)

I suppose at less competitive levels, promotion could be more important.

Seven to be exact LOL.... you know nothing.
UVA
VT
South Carolina

Crickets, hu?

Sorry Bobby. You’re right. FCV is placing 04 girls into top 25 programs like VT and South Carolina. Apologies for challenging your narrative on how FCV is a promotion machine. No need to switch clubs when you can just make a few calls for my DD. Anyone at an ecnl club is an idiot for not kissing the fcv ring of promotion excellence. I ran a model on the facts and it’s undisputed.

Let’s break it down bud!
McLean 04? 0 Large D1 schools
BRYC 04? 0 Large D1 schools however 03 had about 3-4 out of that whole team?
Loudoun 04? NO Large D1 schools
VDA 04? 0 Large D1 schools
Richmond 5 LARGE D1 schools
Metro 04? 0 Large D1 schools
FCV 04? 7 LARGE D1 schools

What does Richmond and FCV have in common? Promotion, that’s the common name of the game and they do it best. They get those girls seen.

What is a Large D1 school? VMI?

The point is that DMV clubs mostly are in ECNL how many of those girls go to ECNL training centers? About the same amount that go to NTC 0-2 at each age group. FCV GA send the girls ECNL local clubs don’t which means they don’t have the same promotional skills we do. Not that hard.

Agreed. Promotion is key and no other club works as hard for their girls as FCV. My DD has over 12 scholarship offers and now it’s about which college is offering the most playing time. UVA is willing to take her and her friends at FCV so they can stay together as a group and dominate ACC. UNC won’t offer this but I’ve asked the club to make this happen as this is our preferred college.

How are they dominating anything if they can't even dominate at Jeff cup in a weak covid year?

They aren’t, LOL but are still doing a bang up job getting their players committed and making sure they get to the training centers. That’s speaks volumes, and that’s the whole point. Little to do with talent and more to do with promotion. If the bottom of the barrel GA teams can have more success then the highest caliber ECNL teams can what dies that say about the programs they are running here in the DMV. Why change clubs?

College coaches are taking players due to promotion? Then they get what they get I suppose.

So much talent in this soccer world... How are you going to get your players seen? By knowing people who know the right people... promotion.

Yes u9-13 parent. No troll. A legitimate question. We’re in GA. Why would they want to go to a ecnl training center?
