The abuse is the lack of pedestrian visits. And didn't the pp say they didn't even have a backyard? If you live in an apartment and your kid doesn't leave the apartment, not even to go to a local park, then yes, it's bordering on abuse. I don't care how interactive you are at home.

Similar PP. All this thread has confirmed for me is that I'm definitely being judged when I take my kid to a store.
