For one thing it cuts early voting hours to 9 to 5. So you'll need to miss a day of work to vote (because we are also cutting back number of stations). And that's just one of a many changes, seemingly small changes that disenfranchise people without much means.

Cutting early voting from 9 to 5, but not regular voting from 9 to 5. Still allows absentee and mail in too. Again, explain how this is significant for those truly interested in voting? This negative press is all smoke and mirrors to make GOP look bad and make CEOs feel good about themselves (which I am fine with as the GOP sucks), but this is much ado about nothing.

Yes, it is exhausting having to continually fight for civil rights rather than just have half the country accept the other half and let them vote and participate freely in our society. So tell us how black voters were prevented from registering to vote and legally voting in the 2020 election please. Please educate us on this. People could mail in, use a drop box, vote early, vote in person. All kinds of options. Under this new law people can still do this, so other than smoke and mirrors what’s really changed?

How exactly is the GA policy limiting voters? It’s my understanding that GA has more lenient early voting options than places like NY and people can bring their own water. What am I missing here?

IMO, the decision was made before Biden said anything. But yes, it is nice to see other MLB and pro teams weighing in.

I would love to see a couple of ***** star recruits at UGA or GATech threaten to find another school as well, but that would be a lot to ask of a 17 year old high school senior.

It would also be nice to see some pro and college players in Texas, Florida, Arizona and other states where this is happening, add to the pressure.
