But don't go throwing it into my face on Instagram while I sit at home with my kids NOT IN SCHOOL FOR A FULL YEAR. Asshole.
Let's also remember that Brianne Nadeau happily took the opportunity to be vaccinated early as a perk of her position but just as happily sent her own constituents to the end of the line in this city. What leaders do in their personal lives does matter.
It's utterly baffling that the 20009 zip code was not just added to the list of priority zip codes when it has thousands of low-income residents. DC added 20010 tonight but not 20009, for completely unknown reasons. Dismal leadership on Nadeau's part.
Why are we adding more priority zip codes at all? If half the city is "priority" it kind of defeats the purpose, no? Doesn't every zip code technically have thousands of low income residents?
But at least she has the time to tax soda.
Prioritizing by zip codes also allows for a whole lot of wealthy people to jump to the front of the line. Adding 20010 adds Mount Pleasant to the list of prioritized neighborhoods even though its residents are well ahead of the city's vaccination average. This will make equity worse. Prioritize by neighborhood not zip code.

Bowser kept indoor dining and drinking open in the fall despite nearly every scientist screaming that it should be shut down. The piddling three-week holiday closure was too little too late, as cases spiked here as they did everywhere else. She's now deciding to pick petty fights with the feds over data reporting instead of getting shots in arms, because to her perception far outweighs production. Sorry, her performance has been mostly indefensible.
I am not sure what you mean by the bolded, but Bowser has been getting every shot in an arm that is possible while asking for more vaccines. If you are attempting to spread the false story that she turned down a FEMA site, the fact is that FEMA said that DC did not qualify so there was no site to be turned down.

Why is Bowser suddenly deciding to pick this fight with a federal administration that ostensibly has her back, as opposed to the last four years. That's a leap I'm not ready to make.
But you're right: I can't prove they're lying, but you can't really prove they're telling the truth either. I'm going on Bowser's undeniably shaky track record with the truth. You're taking her at her word. We'll see who's right. I will bet a lot of money that it's me.
