No. Listen to the science. There is a reason we have the vaccine schedule in the US. If you live in another country, there is a reason why they have their schedule. The reason we have the vaccine schedule we do in the US is because parents of babies are a captive audience. They are the ones most frequently bringing their child to the doctor for well baby visits; thus, the best time to give vaccines is at the well visits. No vaccine is magic nor does a vaccine know age. Vaccines work if given at 8 moths or 8 yrs or 18yrs.

And we did one shot at a time and the Peds office didn’t care at all. No complaints, no issues.

Our pediatrician only does 2 vaccines at a time. I didn’t realize this was unusual. It shouldn’t be too difficult to find a pediatrician who will space out the vaccines like that.

I think Japan has a super reasonable schedule/protocol and it’s worth looking into. If there were any in particular to delay, it’d be hepB. My kids will get it as teens, but if you think your kid is likely to be exposed to fluids earlier, I could see an argument for the middle school years.

Yes! We followed more or less Dr Bob Sears Vaccine book and our pediatrician was happy to accommodate. Did not do Hep B at birth, waiting until 2 for that - and started with one shot at 3 months, then 2 shots at 4 months. Felt comfortable doing two shots at a time as long as they weren't live. We finished between 4-6 years which is the recommended time anyway. Did not to Rotavirus as can aggravate reflux which both my kids had, and Norovirus is more prevalent now anyway. Good luck! Also, supplemented with infant vitamin drops and probitic drops the weeks before and after vaccine when baby was old enough.

My firstborn was born four weeks early. I worked with my pediatrician to space his shots.
In hindsight, it was for my mental comfort.
My second child, we just followed the regular vaccine schedule.

OP here, I understand TDAP comes in one shot...but at 2 months there are others e.g. PCV13 and IPV which can be spaced...also in Sweden such vaccines are given at 3 month. I guess in US maternity leave is short and 2 months is when the babies are taken to the daycare. Moreover there are 3 months in between doses in Sweden, in US it is 2 months

Canada has a year of maternal leave plus paternal leave, and various provinces follow schedules similar to the CDC, so this isn't about daycare.

You said you rely on your own country's science. Can you cite a reference, instead of this speculation?
