MLSNext will merge with the GA with “all-in” propositions that will make things interesting.

ECNL is trying to becoming a boys league so the end is near.

Very strange tribalism indeed.

My advice to anyone, find someone who loves you the way ECNL parents love the ECNL patch.

This isn’t true.

How could this be interpreted as anything but good for local ECNL? Do you really like bus trips to SC/NC or NJ?

MD girls parent here, and I would not like this hypothetical realignment. PDA and Match Fit are good clubs that would be excluded, and the girls play the VA teams enough already in scrimmages and local tournaments or VDA showcase.

Much like NC clubs you assume PDA thinks driving down to MD just to pound you benefits them.

PDA clearly wanted the alignments that exist or they would not be the way they are. What PDA wants, PDA gets.

ECNL expanded in our region. Our region can sustain its own division lessening the travel for all. If PDA wants to pound on local clubs they can certainly add cross division games. And without worry about HS soccer PDA can pick and choose from more competitive clubs in our region. Don’t be offended if they drive through MD and VA to play in NC though.

PDA want the divisions structured how they are. You can be sure of that.

LOL OK remember that when this new realignment happens.

They just enacted a realignment. This is not going to happen.

Especially with virginia and south playing soccer in spring, Maryland and north in the fall.

PDA would rather not to have to travel further south than Maryland. They don’t have to travel north at all right now.

This idea is dumb.

The comment is dumb clearly that this has nothing to do with PDA.

You’re absolutely wrong and just trying to start trash in the middle of club hopping and recruiting. That’s all.

I don't care. Hop away. I just pay attention to what these leagues are and are not and choose one option that sort of works. There is no perfect solution in all this nonsense. Good luck to your player.

Lol. Sigh

So seem strangely offended that someone choses a different path with their kid.

Considering how much things have changed over the last several years it seems really weird to be so devoted to something like a league.

The only constant is change so there is no real reason to worry to much about the macro when the micro is all you have control over.

Leagues change, clubs join, leave, merge etc.

Really, please just stop trying to push some macro solution into everyone it is tired and played. Enjoy your team and I’m sure your kid will make the National Team because the patch you believe in.
