My DD is Sierra! I like the other names on the list. I'm kind of horrified to read many of the reactions here to her name. I had to look up the car (!) And stripper vibe literally never crossed my mind. I figured we'd be pegged as outdoorsy hippies for giving her the name. Yikes. Well, I guess I feel a bit foolish if this is what people are thinking behind our backs, but I still do love the name and I hope she changes some opinions as people meet her!

Sierra - - I actually like Sierra, but it is so different from your other choices that is seems like you just threw it in there because you wondered if you should give your child a name with a different vibe, but it isn't actually your vibe.

If the list were Sierra, River, Sage, Brooklyn, Summer -- then I'd pick Sierra or Sage.
