Subject: How did it feel when a parent died that you cut contact with?
It was a relief OP. A massive relief. No sadness. All the sadness had come before.

My father was a jerk. Barely and I mean barely spoke to him the last 10 or so years of his life. He passed away and screwed my other siblings who did still talk to him -- left everything to the second wife. I didn't go to the funeral. I just didn't care. I still don't care.
