Yes, I know. I was just using "hazing" because it was referenced above at the 6th grade level. It was a tough year of online learning, social isolation, etc and they chose not to reduce the burden of the IDRIP on the kids. It is an important project, but there was little grace given to the students.
They could have gone back to their home schools. Rather than water down the rigor for everyone else.
