His eyes look very red and tired, but I thought he sounded completely lucid.

Flipping your car at 7:15 in the AM could be anything: speeding, impaired by pain pills or just plain old distracted driving - reaching to change the music or grab a coffee. Let's not rush to judgement but wait for more info and in the meantime, hope he comes out of surgery OK. Grateful no one else was injured.


Pupils are dilated too. Some people have that naturally, but it's usually meds.

I hope he’s ok. I assume his golf career is over.

I’m having back problems myself and I’m not driving on the pills! But we assume he is. We are sorry he doesn’t have a driver.

He was driving a sponsorship car - meaning he was getting paid to drive it.

Imagine the publicity now. I just saw the smashed car being airlifted by a huge crane onto a tow truck. Slowly. And on life TV.

No there were not. There were however multiple re-creations of what happened on tabloid shows.

Completely agreed. He does look tired but he sounds great. No slurring and definitely on point. I hope he comes out of this surgery okay and makes a good recovery.

DH just said the same thing - like he was falling asleep in the interview. Guaranteed pill problem. Poor guy.


After surgery? That's not a pill problem. Although maybe being at a golf event while on painkillers after surgery is a problem.
