Yeah...adults were irrelevant when I was a teen-20-something.

I certainly wasn't looking to see what my mom and her friends were wearing . Who cares ?

Every mom had that short 'mom cut' that was unflattering on about 95% of them in the 80s/early 90s. My mom now looks younger at 77 with a longish bob than she did at my sister's wedding in 1991

I have about 15 pairs of boot cut jeans and 7 flares and low rises sitting in a bin if I every choose to wear them.

I found an incredibly flattering skinny jean-- bought 2 pairs in black, 2 in dark indigo, 2 white and 2 in light wash. They have a slight stretch feel to them. I get compliments on my *ss and legs in them.

Not going back to over-sized jeans. They can borrow my 'vintage' 1990-early 2000s jeans, one of the pairs is from Barcelona (but I might actually wear those!) . They are low rise and flared and hot as h*ll.

My hair naturally parts in the middle, maybe slightly off center if I am lucky that day- to get a side part I have to use heat for sure. Is my part the new hot thing again? Haha.

Hey now. I'm a 40 year old who wears shiny leggings (but NOT to work). I wore them as a kid, loved them, and was thrilled to see them in stores again! (my kids are toddlers so I have no one to embarrass yet)

Dude. It's all in good jest. Wear what you like. Kids are going to hate it no matter what you have on. You don't have to tear them down to be ok with it.

I am 42 and wear skinny jeans, mom jeans, wide leg jeans, straight jeans... leggings and jeggings, too. I have a good figure and look great in all of them. The only ones I dislike are flare and boot cut.
