My oldest son plays college lacrosse in Boston so yea he wears tights over shorts.
I think most soccer snd lax players wear them depending on position/weather.
No one cares about lacrosse. Don’t turn this into another shitty lacrosse thread.

Compression leggings are used to keep everything in place (the balls and dick flap around less when running and/or working out). The shorts go over it because the leggings are really tight and can show the outline of the shaft to the dick head. I doubt anyone who works out cares what others think are fashionable when working out.
Except...this is a new phenomenon. What did y’all do before this trend?

Honestly, I find the look kind of hot on men. Besides, it's WAYYYY better than a guy just wearing leggings. Practicality/function + a little modesty = attractive.
Lol, I do too--my husband wears this sometimes when he goes for a run or Crossfit workout.![]()
Me too!! It's so random, but I'm into it.
You ladies are my people.![]()
Men wearings shorts over leggings is much more attractive than a guy in just leggings with his parts on full display. Or flopping around in some shorts. And who wants to work out in sweatpants?!
Besides, I feel like the type of men to wear this style actually work out, and not just play dress up or go to the gym to show that they were there. They get the function, because function is important to a good workout. I dig it.

I don't get it but then again, I had angry bangs at his age back in 1988 so maybe I'm not in a position to criticize.
Anonymous wrote:My husband does this when working out in the cold. He gets the warmth from the tights and the coverage from the shorts.
What is the issue?
Anonymous wrote:I don’t think men are super comfortable wearing essentially “tights” as pants in public. Unless they are bikers or speedo wearers, there is no equivalent item they would wear.
