I got one too. And rebuilt my engagement ring after my husband's affair (which is a different story). I used to ALWAYS wear the wedding band and engagement ring. Then I stopped the engagement ring. Then we rebuilt, and got the eternity ring. I wear the full set if I'm dressed up. The rest of the time, its the wedding band or the eternity ring.
I hate the teardrop shaped stones, regardless of stone type. My favorite part of the engagement ring is that it is a symbol of who you were then as a couple. Finances, kids, life happen....and that is the bedrock (or pearl, or band, or tattoo or whatever). So, my most hated trend is "upgrading" from whatever you started with. Add on...ok. But never replace.

They are a fabrication by DeBeers to sell overpriced stones. Just stupid and a total waste of money. At least just get a synthetic stone and don't throw your money down the drain.

+1000000000000.
