I’m not sure what you say is accurate.
But if so, it makes me laugh.
I hope the schools won’t be able to buy their way out of this but I doubt it
I fully support prioritizing public school teachers
Wow, laughing at people risking their health to educate your children.
You’re a terrible human.
I don’t have kids in private school. My kids go to public. I could afford private, but I choose to support the public school system

Don’t make a controversy where there is none!

They are giving priority to DCPS and charter school employees and independent school teachers are not eligible in this round. Which is complete BULLSHIT because we have been the ones going in person and risking our health to educate kids while public school teachers stay home.
I am LIVID.
Maybe since the private schools have more space / ability to enforce rules "codes of conduct" the teachers are at less risk to start with and therefore should be prioritized lower?
Clearly the schools were able to figure out how to open up safely - probably with evidence that there was low spread - so what else do you need?
this, it's perfectly safe for the privates to be open has suddenly changed to it's unsafe and our teachers need to be prioritized- choose one

VA teachers have to teach there, I believe.
Incorrect. It’s based on where you live. They ask for an ID to prove your residency.
