If you are in the woods by yourself or on an empty street - by all means, I don’t see how a mask is necessary.

If you are in a crowd but outside, on a full playground blocking the way - it’s just reasonable to wear a mask to protect others from your spit.

DP than you responded to, where are your sources that COVID spreads outdoors? You can’t because there aren’t any! I am a medical professional and a mask wearer. I find it very disingenuous when randoms get online and spew unsubstantiated claims. With that said, wear a mask.

There's probably a decent chance of that. I seek out empty playgrounds with my kids. For a variety of reasons, we don't wear masks. If someone else comes without a mask, I'm not going to put one on, but I will maintain some space.

If someone asked me to wear one, I would (I always carry one). Though, admittedly, I'd probably just decide to leave if we had been there a while, particularly since one of my kids won't wear them.

I wear glasses too. Pull the mask up your nose, put the glasses on top of the mask. This usually works for me.

Have your been outside in cold weather? That doesn't work. Yes, it blocks the air from coming up by your nose, but not by your cheek bones. The colder weather is much less forgiving because the water vapor condenses so much more easily.
