For everything except reading, yes (I have a 2nd grader who is behind in reading and not getting the support she needs via DL, but probably wouldn't get it in person either).

Not as good, but not as bad as I worried. There aren't as many opportunities to work through problems in a group, have one-on-one or small-group time with a teacher, and it's harder to focus. But they are moving through the curriculum, and she is definitely learning concrete things like multiplication, or the parts of a sentence, etc.

My 2nd grader going off her vast school experience (hahaha) told us she is not learning as much as she did when she used to go to school in person. Her teacher is great and is trying, but this year really isn't an education year.

Eh. It depends on many factors: the kid, the teacher, the subject.....

He takes frequent breaks, he chews on his chewelry without being reprimanded, he fidgets noisily, in other words, he feels comfortable learning at home. He is not required to turn on the camera and does not do it. He misses his friends but would rather not go back to school.

My 4th grader with LDs and ADHD is doing ok with tons of supplementation. If we took that away she would be learning absolutely nothing.
