What town did you grow up in?
Bridgeport
that is a bit of shit hole place, PP, right?
That's an offensive and discriminatory comment. There are many people who make that city their home.
discriminatory against what exactly? High crime rates and poor prospects?
I’m the actual PP who said the Long Island Sound is disgusting, and I grew up in Westport. Nice to look at, sure, but I wouldn’t take my kids swimming at Sherwood or Compo beach. I’m not sure if Bridgeport has any public beaches.
I know Westport. Paul Newman used to live there in the 80s when I was growing up in Greenwich. They had a darling bookshop we used to visit on the weekends.

Greenwich is more city-like in that it’s larger and has more things to do. If I was white, I’d be okay with Darien. As a PoC I’d pick Greenwich because it is more diverse.
really? I grew up in Greenwich and it was the whitest of white

That’s the problem with many of the opinions on this thread. Fairfield county has changed A LOT in the past 30, even 20 years (chalk it up to The hedge funds and banking industry and an influx of immigrants from central/South America and Eastern Europe).

Have you ever been to Fairfield county? It’s overwhelmingly rich.
