I’m with you, but I’d just rehome the dog. Your husband doesn’t respect you. You both sound like old people, stubborn, liking to complain but not doing anything about it.

OP, I'm 99% positive this is you based on the age of the dog, the older no energy husband, your annoyance and your writing styles are IDENTICAL.

Once again, you're trying to illicit sympathy from us, but before you give this OP another ounce of your sympathy, please read this post that she wrote in Relationship Discussion about how she keeps the dog in a crate for 14 hours a night with ZERO access to water or food.

Then let me know how much sympathy you have for her... poor puppy.

No S***! Maybe because it wasn’t my idea. I have zero patience at this age and have already raised kids and wasn’t planning on dealing with so much chaos in my golden years. I need to outsource because my resentment grows with every huge turd I see on my gorg lanai or tracking mud thru my kitchen, or jumping up on kitchen counter when I’m trying to cook, or listening to ear piercing barking, or chasing my lounging cats. Sounds like a Newfoundland. They are amazing dogs. Puppy is clumsy because they have to grow into body. They are not dumb FYI and are used for police rescue work in some
Countries. Sounds like you do not love dogs. I do think you will grow to love this dog but if you really hate being a dog parent then it will be easy to rehome.

You seem really harsh... it’s a puppy(you know baby dog) not a demon living in your home. I can tell from your post you don’t have much patience left so you need to outsource care and training to maintain sanity and minimize resentment.

Not an aggressive breed at all. If anything more clumsy and dopey which I find annoying being that I love K9 police dogs who are so intelligent. If I wanted a 100lb slobbering hair ball at least I’d pick something useful that could protect me.

Because it’s either that or divorce. The doggie daycare is literally 3 mts from our house and I don’t work so I will happily take her and pick her up. Trust me it’s more of an inconvenience to deal with her energy while I’m trying to relax. Also to prove a point to my hardheaded DH who thinks he knows how to raise dogs! When he sees how much better she behaves on the days she’s had hrs of exercise maybe the lightbulb will go off! Errrrr

You know thta doggy daycare is not a substitute for training right?

I know but at least she’ll get what puppy’s need the most. Exercise and playtime!!!

OP here. Yay finally convinced my DH to let me enroll her in doggie daycare! He said, “well I’m not gonna take her”! I said no problem I will handle it kemosabe! I've known too many people like this to doubt it. Then OP will be on the Parenting boards complaining about her DH not wanting to care for his own child.
